Introduction
Physicist William Pollard once said: "Learning and innovation go hand in hand. The arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for tomorrow." This quote still rings true today, as it seems like everyday, a new invention that seeks to make life easier springs up and signals to the public its arrival. Throughout time, humanity has sought to raise themselves to bigger and brighter futures. People from all over the globe have worked to better their lives, as well as the lives of those around them. These people adapted. They learned. They looked to fix what was broken. They innovated. And thus, the world was, and still is, given a myriad of inventions that would make life easier for anyone who used them. This project aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of the famous technological innovations and their innovators during the 70 year time period of 1930-2000. Everything from color television to the Walkman to auction sites is covered within, all in an easy to navigate and read format. Click one of the pictures below to get started.
